Apple just released a newer version of their ultra slim laptop, the MacBook Air. The updated Macbook Air comes with a slightly faster processor, and a surprising $100 price reduction, featuring the 11″ version starting at $899, and the 13″ version at $999.
The MacBook Air now features a dual core Intel i5 processor with a slightly higher clock speed of 1.4 GHz, comparing to the previous one of 1.3, and a Turbo Boost of 2.7 GHz, instead of the previous 2.6.
Apart from the slightly improved processor and the reduced price, the rest of the MacBook Air is identical to its predecessor, with 4 gigabytes of RAM, Intel HD Graphics 5000, and a choice between 128 GB or 256 GB of flash storage. However, there is still no version with a Retina Display.
