Tim Cook Bashes New Apple Book, Calls It “Nonsense”

In a statement given to CNBC, Tim Cook completely bashed the new Apple book, titled “Haunted Empire: Apple After Steve Jobs”:

This nonsense belongs with some of the other books I’ve read about Apple. It fails to capture Apple, Steve, or anyone else in the company. Apple has over 85,000 employees that come to work each day to do their best work, to create the world’s best products, to put their mark in the universe and leave it better than they found it. This has been the heart of Apple from day one and will remain at the heart for decades to come. I am very confident about our future.

The author of the book, former Wall Street Journal Reporter Yukari Iwatani Kane claims to have personally interviewed over 200 business partners and executives in order to acquire the facts and details to write his book.

As the title evidently suggests, the book does not portray a positive image of the Apple empire, and expects an eventual downfall, claims which have been completely discarded by Cook.

The book can be purchased on iBooks for $14.99, and on Amazon for $12.79.
