fbmessenger

If you’ve ever wanted to stay ahead of others, and help make the Facebook Messenger App better in all possible ways, then Facebook has something for you. Facebook announced today that they would be offering a public beta of their Messenger for Android App. It will allow a broader range of people to test out newer and possibly buggy versions of Facebook messenger and report bugs, so that they may be fixed before the actual release. The advantage is that they will get to experience new features before everyone else, possibly even features that won’t make it to the final release.

To join the opt for the beta, follow the following steps:

Join the Facebook Messenger for Android Beta Testers Google group: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/messenger-for-android-beta-testers

Allow beta downloads by clicking “Become a Tester” in the Play Store (you need to join the Google Group before becoming a tester)

Download Facebook Messenger from the Play Store to update your app

Turn on automatic updates, as the beta version of Facebook Messenger for Android will be updated multiple times per week
