Flappy Bird Will No Longer Be Available, To Be Pulled Down By Developer (UPDATED)
I am sorry 'Flappy Bird' users, 22 hours from now, I will take 'Flappy Bird' down. I cannot take this anymore.

Indie Flappy Bird developer, Dong Nguyen says he will be pulling down Flappy Bird from the App Store since the super hit title is ruining his simple life. The developer tweeted – “I am sorry Flappy Bird users, 22 hours from now, I will take Flappy Bird down. I cannot take this anymore.”. He further went on to say, “It is not anything related to legal issues. I just cannot keep it anymore”.
Following the tweet, several users replied to the initial tweeting expressing their anger and explaining how it took them so long to acquire their high scores and that the developer should not take it down. The game has been a super hit and comes from an indie developer based in Vietnam. He will still be making games, but cannot handle the hype of Flappy Bird.
Usually, developers would do anything for this sort of attention. Even though Dong claims that there are no legal issues, we suspect that there might be legal issues arising because of which Dong has decided to pull the game off the App Store and the Google Play network. Dong has also turned down several acquisition offers and has repeatedly mentioned that he does not want to sell the game.
UPDATE – The App is no longer available on the App Store or Google Play.
