Radium – A Brilliant Radio Player That Is Absolutely Perfect for iOS
Radium, developed by CatPig Studios, is one of the best internet radio app on the App Store, with an excellent history on Apple’s Mac, providing access to over 8,000 internet radio stations and a user-friendly layout, it is a must have app for any music junkie.
Radium has a minimalist and well designed layout. It comes with full features that are provided on the Mac version of the app. Adding stations to Radium is just simple as cutting a slice of cake. Users simply search for a particular genre or query and tap on the stations found to hear a preview or tap a small heart to add it to your favorites. After you have a couple of stations in your favorites list, you can tap on any of them to listen whats playing. Radium also allows you to customize the icons of your favorite stations and order them in a channel setup just like you do in your car. Not only this but you can add the currently playing song in your wish list and a powerful search engine for finding new stations. Furthermore, there is an auto equalizer mode that automatically adjusts based upon the song or you can yourself edit the equalizer to your liking. Every part of Radium feels like a highly polished app.
On the other hand, there are some issues with Radium. When you change the radio station, there are connectivity issues that happen occasionally. However, there is an option to pause live radio and resume it later and not only does Radium find song radio stations but also news, talk, sports and AM style radio stations are included.
