Among the people expected to attend the Annual Sun Valley Conference, this week in Idaho, is Tim Cook, the current CEO of Apple Inc.
The conference will be held over a period of 4 days, and is hosted by the the New York based investment bank, Allen & Co., being a forum for the industry giants to discuss politics, business, and tech.
The most popular attendee, however, is expected to be John Malone, AKA ‘The King of Cable,’ as his company, ‘Liberty Media,’ is trying to acquire Time Warner Cable, and also as they recently invested largely in Charter Communication.
However, this isn’t the first time Tim Cook has shown up, as he appeared in last year’s conference as well, being among the more popular attendees, partially because Apple Executives don’t usually show up at these type of events. Apart from Tim Cook, other popular figures showing up include Rupert Murdoch, Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, Sergey Brin, Larry Page, Eric Schmidt and the CEO of Disney, Bob Iger.
