Apple’s Data Centers Now Use 100% Renewable Energy
Apple is the greenest technology company in the world and its constant deployments certainly help it remain #1. Apple today updated its page “Apple and the Environment” and now claim that all of their data centers run on 100% renewable energy. The companies data centers now run on either, solar, wind, or geothermal energy rather than coal or fossil fuels.

That’s a great initiative from Apple towards helping the world be a more greener place. Apple’s facilities in Newark and California have now started to use wind as their primary energy source. Apple’s giant data center in Maiden, North Carolina has the nation’s largest end user-owned, onsite solar photovoltaic array in the U.S.
