Apple Opening Up Store In Indonesia, Investing $3M
Apple is investing $3 million and has confirmed that they will be opening up their first retail store and even an online store in Jakarta, Indonesia. The BKPM announced the approval of Apple’s application earlier today and officials report that the company will be investing anywhere between $2 million – $3 million in this new venture.
It is not the first time Apple has started a store in Indonesia, it did so during 2008-2010, but eventually shut down due to shipping irregularities. These new stores would be a great expansion for Apple’s demographics and even allow more customers to feel Apple products, officially!
