Twitter have updated their iOS and Android App to support Instagram like photo filters. Twitter for iOS and Android will now allow you to add photo filters to your pictures right from the App before posting it to Twitter. Cropping tools, auto-enhance, pinch to zoom and photo filters are now a part of the App.
The rumor mill suggests that Twitter implemented these features to counter the purchase of Instagram by Facebook. Recent rules by Instagram (forced upon by Facebook) removed the features of Twitter cards when Instagram users posted their images on the popular micro blogging site. This recent update will help native Twitter App users to play around with their pictures before showcasing it to their followers.
