iPad Mini Coming in October, Followed by the iPhone 5 Launch

The iPhone 5 is coming on September 12, we all know that. Now the next thing to speculate about is the all new iPad mini. AllThingsD today confirms that the iPad Mini will be released in October followed by the September launch of the iPhone 5.

John Paczkowski reports that the iPhone 5 and the iPad Mini will both be launched before the holiday season. He says that several unnamed sources have confirmed this. AllThingsD is a very close source to Apple and so these new insights should be true.

Only after the next-generation iPhone is out the door and on sale will Apple announce the smaller iPad it’s been working on. That device, which is expected to have a display of less than eight inches, will be uncrated at a second special event, which sources said is currently scheduled for October.
