Google+ has got a whole new design for tablets with the Android version available from today and the iPad version being made available in the very near future. Vic Gundotra, VP at Google announced that Google+ usage on mobile devices has been accelerating and users have been demanding a tablet specific version of Google+.
Considering the positive momentum, Google has announced the Android version of the social network and the iPad version has been submitted to the App Store. You get your stream in a very intuitive manner in both landscape and portrait formats.
Things which have a lot of +1s will appear larger. The interface is very neat with a lot of inspiration being taken from Flipboard and the overall Apple experience.
The mobile drive is also because Google will announce Nexus 7, the company’s foray into the tablet business.
