Apple May Be Developing a Web Based Diagnostics Tool for iOS

HardMac is reporting that Apple has announced internally a new web based tool that can be used to instantly fix and/or search for repair manuals for all things iOS. The new web based tool will basically work as a tool that checks devices internally for all issues, and once found, report it to Apple engineers and even predict a solution if possible.

Everything will work by sending a URL to the device which will then start running the retired tests. After the Express Lane, this will be yet another online feature that Apple will implement to serve its customers in need of a solution. It is unclear if the tool checks for jail broken devices or not. But we think, that it might, as although jailbreaking is legal, it still voids your warranty.

According to HardMac, the new web based tool will be out within the next few months.
