Apple Store is Being Updated, New iMacs Coming

20110503-043406.jpgApple is busy updating the online store for us with something new. Rumors suggest that new iMacs boasting Intel’s latest Sandy Bridge processors will be made available as soon as the store comes back up.

Sources told AppleInsider that on May 3rd, Apple will introduce new iMacs that will be more powerful than before, and will also include a Thunderbolt port found on the recent MacBook Pros.

    I just encountered that message. I was trying to track my iPad shipment using app on my iPod touch, called “Delivery Status Touch.” It said “contacting Apple,” then it said “couldn’t connect.”

    I went to my order page, and tapped/clicked on the tracking number. That’s when I got the “busy updating” message.

    Kind of annoying. Luckily, I was still able to track my package by grabbing my tracking number off the order page and entering it into fedex.com.

    What they should do is buy an e-commerce solution. That way, adding a new product is as easy as 1-2-3. 1) Log in 2) Add a new item 3) Done!
    They could even install WordPress on their site. I’m sure there would be an e-commerce plugin that’s right for them.

    Now, I actually don’t work for WordPress. They don’t even hire marketing teams. WordPress is fully community-driven, like Mozilla products (e.g the Firefox browser).
