A new rumor about the iPad 2 is surfacing that suggests that the next generation of the iPad will have an in-built SD Card slot. Apple already sells a camera connection kit for the iPad that allows you to plug in an SD card and import pictures to your iPad.
According to Engadget’s sources, this time the SD-Card slot would be built in to the iPad 2 making it more accessible. The new iPad would still have its 9.7 inch screen, but would be slimmer and lighter. It would also include two cameras and a higher resolution display (we’ve heard this many times).
Another rumor suggests that the iPhone 5 and iPad 2 would both utilize a dual CDMA/GSM chipset from Qualcomm, making the devices compatible with AT&T and Verizon simultaneously. A USB Port would not make it to the iPad this time, but it would be good if it did. What do you think?
