Skype has just announced that its Internet Calling software is now available for all Android devices. The App is now open and available on the Android Market for Android devices running Android 2.1 and above.
You can make Skype-Skype calls, chats, regular calls and send and receive IM’s for free using the App. You can also call normal phones using the App over WiFi or 3G. Once you log in, the App automatically syncs your contacts from your Skype account. While working, Skype uses the powerful multitasking ability of Android and stays in the background even if you close it.
Skype has also indicated that the App has a few bugs on some devices and they would be rolling out updates to fix the issue.
