Firefox 4 for Android Enters Beta

Already a huge success on the desktop computing platform, Firefox plans to become a sensation in the mobile space too. Mozilla’s browser for Android has got the Beta tag today and adds some exciting new features.

First, Sync is now available for Android and you could keep all your Firefox data synced between your computers and mobile devices. You need to register with your Firefox Sync account and all your bookmarks, passwords and form data will be synced.

Firefox 4 Beta for Android plans to deliver the same enriching Firefox desktop experience and includes a rich set of feature like pinch to zoom and the awesome screen which gives you instant access to history, bookmarks and tabs. Firefox 4 also features HTML5, CSS3 and other newer web standards which would be a boon for web developers as they could develop web-apps and reach millions of users.

Apart from new features, this version is extremely responsive, fast and does not drain battery life. This beta brings the Layers pieces which improve overall performance and in graphics areas such as scrolling, zooming and animations.
