Gmail Gets Multiple Account Sign-In
Most of you probably have two or more Gmail accounts and can’t use them together in one browser. Well, Google has a solution for you. Google has been testing this feature for quite some time and has finally enabled it in Gmail.
Starting today, you could now sign in to multiple accounts from the same browser. You could open your personal Gmail in one tab and your work mail in another and they’ll work. The feature is turned off by default and you need to enable it by logging in to your Google Accounts Page. Once enabled, you could simply switch between different inboxes using a pull-down menu that appears next to your email address atop the Google service you are using.
Here’s what the Google Help Center says about Multiple Account Sign-in – “If you use multiple sign-in, the first account you sign in to will be your default account. If you visit other Google products that don’t support multiple accounts after you’ve signed in, you will automatically sign in to your default account for that product. If you sign out of any Google product while signed in to any account, you will be signed out of all your Google Accounts at once.”
