iOS 4.1

Apple has just released an update for it’s feature rich iOS. The update takes iOS to version 4.1 and is now available to developers. As promised by Apple, the formula for calculating the signal strength seems to be solved.

All registered iPhone Dev users could log in to their developer account and get iOS 4.1 for testing. The signal bars appear to be taller now and the reception is better. The modem firmware has also been updated to version 02.07.01.

Surprisingly, the jailbreak for the new version is already out and developers eager to do so could download Redsn0w 0.9.5 Beta and try their luck. Though we recommend waiting for the final version as it is not yet confirmed. Apple would be releasing a lot of BETA versions before finally making it available to the users.
