Microsoft Fires Back at Google

Google recently said that they would be removing Microsoft’s Windows Operating System from their computers. Employees would be allowed to run Windows on their personal computers but not on their main workstations. They instead plan to shift to Mac‘s or will install Linux on these machines.

They believe that Windows and Internet Explorer are the reasons behind the China attacks while Google feels Windows is incapable of being secure and stable.

Microsoft replied to this incident with a sudden reaction. They said “ When it comes to security, even hackers admit we’re doing a better job in making our products more secure than anyone else. And it’s not just hackers; third party influentials and industry leaders like Cisco tell us regularly that our focus and investment continues to surpass others”.

Google wasn’t Microsoft’s only target, they even targeted their best friends at West, Apple and highlighted reports which focused on a spyware that targeted Mac OS X. Google even uses Mac’s for presentation purposes and while presenting keynotes too. Given Google and other huge tech giants shifting to Mac, the Mac market share could gain importance.
