iPhone 4 Is Here [REVIEW]
Today, Apple’s next generation iPhone hit the stores and people all around the world stood up in excitement. The new iPhone was given a huge press coverage and nearly all waited in anticipation to get their hands on an iPhone.
The new iPhone, of course, features an all new design which includes a large 3.5 inch screen and a built in three axis gyroscope and accelerometer for better gaming. It has a gorgeous display with a technology Apple calls, Retina Display. Retina display makes text and images a lot sharp and viewing stuff on the new iPhone is a charm.
The new generation of the iPhone runs on iOS 4 which adds essential and missing features to the phone. It brings with it 100 new features which improve performance and increase productivity. The features included multitasking, folders, iBooks, iAds, Even better Camera and a unified inbox among others. The Apps developed for iPhone 4 would run full screen on iPad, thanks to the elegant display.
Apple even gave users a new way to purchase their new phones. The new Apple Store App lets you pre-order your phone right from your existing iphone or iPod touch.
People all over US were standing queuing outside the Apple Stores for the past 4 days and they buzzed like a swarm of flies. We finally managed to get our hands on one and it is super cool. Though it turned out to be slightly heavier than the 3G, it is snappy, fast and feels great. The operating system is smooth and does not give any issues while syncing. The display is truly magnificent and waiting in line was worth it. The camera is not as good as expected but flash does a good job while taking videos in dim light.
What really is the winner is – FaceTime. FaceTime is video calling but with a whole new twist to it. It is really cool and does not lag as it did in the keynote. You call any other iPhone 4 user and tap on FaceTime, there is no setup required or anything and it works just out of the box.
If you haven’t got one yet, you should consider standing in that frustrating yet worthwhile queue.
